Let me know if you have any questions about paper piecing! I'm soo addicted. Designing these patterns is the perfect combination of creativity and logic. I hope you love it too!
If you love the mug rug, but don't want to make it - I'm selling this one in my Etsy store here. It will probably be the only one of this style I make.. Just too many ideas and not enough time..

Cute pattern! The top and bottom lines didn't show up in my print out, though. Looking forward to making a set of these to use in July!

I'm a mug rug addict! I love the fact that this cute little flag uses up all those scraps we seem to accumulate!
ReplyDeleteDon't know where my comment went, to cyber space somewhere! Love this flag mug rug! Plus the fact that it can use up a few of the never-ending supply of scraps!
ReplyDeleteI love this, never paper pieced before but got the hang of it quickly. Im not sure how to finish it after quilting though. I have three (made in different sizes) and they are quilted but Im not sure how to bind or finish the edges. Help. I made a big one for my husbands office for his water cup and I trimmed the edges with my pinking shears to give it a rustic feel and used denim for the square of blue where stars would be. I should have taken a pic .... might have him bring it home. Anyway, I love the pattern and paper piecing. This was really quick to make.
ReplyDeleteHi, Love that Patriotic Mug Rug.....now if I only knew how to do the paper piecing.
