Many and not so many of you know
that I lost a pregnancy two Octobers ago.
It was early on, but when I saw that pink positive sign
I gave my heart away.
And it broke that October.
We conceived again just a few months later with Juliette.
And she was born the following October.
It was the most amazing, bittersweet full circle I had
encountered in my life.
I could not have my amazing, sweet Jules had I not lost the pregnancy.
But a mother never forgets..
For this week's Project Quilting and my first entry into AAQ,
I present "A Mother Never Forgets"
Myself with my two girls
forever linked to our angel baby.

♥ What a beautiful, sweet creation. I love all of the symbolism in the piece...the big hearts, and how everyone is connected in some way.
It is beautiful. I think it perfectly captures that a mother never forgets the babies she never got to hold.
I am sorry for your loss.
Thank you ladies!
I think it is something that will always remain a loss in my heart, but it lead the way to Juliette..
It was very healing to sew it..
Beautiful.
Saw you on Kim's Crafty Apple. Lovely quilt you made. I too have lost a baby. You are right that a mother never forgets.
I am looking forward to heaven where I can be with ALL my children at the same time!
so sweet and special-love your design-no matter how many children you have, you never forget the one you lost
What a beautiful, special creation to remember your baby. You are a gifted crafter! Thank you so much for sharing it with my readers. :)
